What drives me

Understanding numbers and technology go hand in hand for me. Even in my previous employment, I worked toward exactly that – automating structures instead of just analyzing them. I went self-employed to focus on this even more.

My experience

For several years, I was a business sparring partner in corporate controlling at an internationally active industrial company.

• Co-managed the monthly close and management report
• Analyzed key figures and facilitated the planning and budget process for the entire business unit
• Set up controlling structures in customizing for international SAP rollouts, trained staff
• Integrated a time-tracking system with internal cost allocation – including automated posting
• Built company-wide data models in Power BI – across a wide range of business areas – and onboarded and managed a BI developer
• Managed a controlling position

The impact

Closes and reports ran noticeably faster. The structures were built so the team could carry them forward independently.
