Before going self-employed, I spent several years as a business partner in corporate controlling at an internationally active industrial company. I co-managed the monthly close, prepared the related management report, analyzed key figures, and facilitated the planning and budgeting process for the entire business unit.
As part of international SAP rollouts, I configured the controlling structures in SAP customizing and trained local staff. I also co-managed the technical integration of a local time-tracking system with internal cost allocation, including automated postings.
The controlling data model in Power BI was built under my responsibility, and later expanded together with a BI developer whom I onboarded and managed. I also had line management responsibility for a controlling position within the team.
